LuckyFes'26 aims for "zero heatstroke cases," distributing 100,000 salt candies and spraying water in front of the stage if temperatures exceed 32 degrees Celsius, among other measures to ensure safety and security in addition to the "five principles of heatstroke prevention."

LuckyFM Ibaraki Broadcasting Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Mito City, Ibaraki Prefecture) will be focusing more than ever on heatstroke prevention measures at LuckyFes'26, which will be held for four consecutive days from August 8th (Sat), 9th (Sun), 10th (Mon), and 11th (Tue/National Holiday) at Hitachi Seaside Park. The goal is "zero heatstroke cases."

At LuckyFes, we have implemented heatstroke prevention measures based on the "Five Principles of Heatstroke Prevention." 1) All stages are set up on grass, 2) The front area is rotated each time, 3) Shaded and covered resting areas are increased, 4) Drinks and a water play area for children are provided, and 5) A first-aid station is available. As a result, last year we achieved zero emergency transports due to heatstroke.

This year, in addition to the measures mentioned above, we will implement two more measures: 1) We will distribute 100,000 salt candies at the entrance gates. With the cooperation of ALIVE in Hitachinaka City and Marue Confectionery in Sakuragawa City, we will provide one salt candy per person, which is effective in preventing heatstroke. 2) When the temperature exceeds 32 degrees Celsius, we plan to spray water towards the front areas of the RAINBOW STAGE and WING STAGE.

Summer festivals are usually held on reclaimed land in cities or deep in the mountains, but LuckyFes is held in a vast, lush green park along the coast. As a result, the venue is covered in grass, has plenty of shade, and a sea breeze blows, making it a pleasant space where the perceived temperature is about 3 to 5 degrees Celsius lower than in Tokyo.

LuckyFes aims to be the most comfortable summer festival in Japan. We will continue to do our best to ensure that everyone can fully enjoy the summer festival, LuckyFes, while taking precautions against heatstroke.

<5 Principles for Preventing Heatstroke>
1. All stages will be located on grassy areas.
2. The front areas of the RAINBOW, WING, and GARDEN stages will be rotated each time.
3. All eating and resting areas should be in shaded or covered areas.
4. There are plenty of drink stations, and a water play area for children within the park.
5. Medical stations will be set up in four locations, mainly near the stage and in Lucky Plaza.
