LuckyFes to hold "Battle to LuckyFes'26" audition for stage performance rights

LuckyFM Ibaraki Broadcasting Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Mito City, Ibaraki Prefecture) will hold auditions for the music festival "LuckyFes'26" on Monday, August 10th and Tuesday, August 11th (a national holiday) at the National Hitachi Seaside Park (Hitachinaka City, Ibaraki Prefecture).Monday, August 10th, and Tuesday, August 11th (a national holiday).

This year, we will again utilize TuneCore Japan's audition platform to solicit music submissions from independent artists.The submission period for audio reviews runs for three weeks, from Monday, February 9th at 12:00 PM to Sunday, March 1st at 11:59 PM. Artists passing the audio review will advance to a video review and then to live auditions at a Tokyo live house. Ultimately, up to three acts will win the right to perform on the LuckyFes'26 stage. Additionally, a secondary prize of ¥100,000 will be awarded.

The audition process will be featured periodically on LuckyFM. Artists selected to perform at the festival are also scheduled to appear on the program before the main LuckyFes'26 event.

Last year's Battle to LuckyFes received a total of 1,328 song submissions, with three artists (Yume Kishimoto / Kiyoka Fukushima / JUGEM) ultimately advancing to LuckyFes'25.Furthermore, Ashley, who performed as a guest artist at LuckyFes'24, now hosts our program "Lucky Hip Hop" and also performed at LuckyFes'25, expanding her opportunities.
