LuckyFes continues to feature Kaiho! 12 different "Lucky Monsters" will appear as balloons and costumed characters, creating an enjoyable theme park atmosphere.

LuckyFM Ibaraki Broadcasting Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Mito City, Ibaraki Prefecture) has appointed Kaiho, a rising artist whose unique worldview utilizing special effects makeup has garnered support, as the creative director for the art portion of LuckyFes'26, which will be held for four consecutive days from August 8th (Sat) to 11th (Tue, holiday) at Hitachi Seaside Park. This marks the third consecutive year that Kaiho has been appointed as the creative director for LuckyFes'26.



LuckyFes embraces "an art festival" as one of its themes, creating a theme park-like space where visitors can enjoy art by a new generation of artists. Creative director Kaiho pursues his unique worldview through special effects makeup, graphics, and art direction, and has provided his work to many artists including King Gnu, Vaundy, Official Hige Dandism, Kyary Pamyu Pamyu, yama, ALI, and Fujii Kaze.

At the LuckyFes venue, the original character "Lucky Monster," designed by Kaiho, will appear as a large balloon, and some of the Lucky Monsters will even parade around the venue, creating a theme park atmosphere.
