In "Battle to LuckyFes," a competition for the right to perform on the LuckyFes'26 stage, 34 groups were selected from 1,132 applications through audio submissions, and will now proceed to video submissions.

LuckyFM Ibaraki Broadcasting Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Mito City, Ibaraki Prefecture) has conducted an audio review for "Battle to LuckyFes'26," an audition to determine who will perform at the music festival "LuckyFes'26," which will be held at Hitachi Seaside Park (Hitachinaka City, Ibaraki Prefecture) on August 8th (Sat), 9th (Sun), 10th (Mon), and 11th (Tue/Holiday). We are pleased to announce that 34 groups have been selected from a total of 1,132 entries.

The judging panel consisted of LuckyFes project producer DJ DRAGON, BARKS chairman Tetsuya Karasuma, LuckyFM programming department members Takashi Kamogawa and Miho Shuto, and TuneCore Japan's Takumi Nobe. The 34 selected groups will now undergo video judging, and the final judging will be held in person with an audience at the live music venue "Shimokitazawa BASEMENTBAR" on June 7th. The auditions will be featured on LuckyFM programs and in BARKS articles, so please stay tuned.
