MAN WITH A MISSION

A rock band consisting of five ultimate life forms with the heads of wolves and the bodies of humans: MAN WITH A MISSION. The members are Tokyo Tanaka (vocals), Jean-Ken Johnny (guitar, vocals, rap), Kamikaze Boy (bass), DJ Santa Monica (DJ), and Spear Rib (drums). They suddenly appeared on the music scene in 2010. They have achieved an unstoppable surge in live performances, with their solo shows at Nippon Budokan, Yokohama Arena, Makuhari Messe, Saitama Super Arena, and Hanshin Koshien Stadium all selling out on the first day of ticket sales. Additionally, they have contributed to numerous theme songs for TV commercials, anime, television shows, and movies, broadening their appeal among a diverse fan base. Their activities have expanded not only domestically but also internationally, garnering attention from around the world, including their debut in the United States. They have embarked on overseas tours with big names like Zebrahead and Jimmy Eat World, and have performed at major UK festivals such as Reading and Leeds Festival and Download Festival, along with their own North American tours. Since their 10th anniversary in 2020, they have continued to evolve and lead the music scene. They released their first two-part album, "Break and Cross the Walls I" and "Break and Cross the Walls II," in November 2021 and May 2022, respectively. In 2023, they took part in the theme song for the TV anime "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Swordsmith Village Arc" with the collaboration song "Kizuna no Kiseki / Koikogare," which became a smash hit with over 200 million cumulative streams! They also conducted the world tour "WOLVES ON PARADE" in 2023, which included their first solo overseas shows in about four years. In 2024, they successfully completed the North America and UK & EUROPE Tour 2024 Powered by Crunchyroll. In 2025, marking their 15th anniversary, MAN WITH A MISSION successfully completed a nationwide arena tour titled "MAN WITH A '15th' MISSION PLAY WHAT U WANT TOUR 2025", performing in 8 major cities across Japan. They also released their long-awaited new record, “XV EP”, their first new work in nearly three years. Now, the band is set to release a physical version of the EP on CD and vinyl on September 19 via the legendary label Century Media for the UK and European markets. This October, MAN WITH A MISSION will embark on their “HOWLING ACROSS THE WORLD” UK/EU TOUR 2025, headlining 13 shows across 6 countries—including the UK, Germany, the Netherlands, France, Czech Republic, and Austria. The tour kicks off at O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire in London, with Hand Like Houses joining as special guests.
