LuckyFM Ibaraki Broadcasting Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Mito City, Ibaraki Prefecture) is pleased to announce that LuckyFes’26 will be held over four consecutive days — August 8 (Sat), 9 (Sun), 10 (Mon), and 11 (Tue, national holiday) — at the Hitachi Seaside Park in Hitachinaka City, Ibaraki Prefecture.

LuckyFes was launched in 2022 as a completely new type of festival themed around “music, food, and art.” With a strong emphasis on musical crossover, the event features artists across a wide spectrum — from POPS, ROCK, HIPHOP, and anime songs to idols and K-POP — attracting multigenerational fans and earning a strong reputation as a festival for everyone.

  • In its first year, with just six months of preparation, the festival welcomed 20,000 “Friends” (festivalgoers) over two days on three stages.
  • In its second year, the event expanded to three days and brought in 40,000 attendees.
  • In its third year, the festival boldly moved to the vast “Great Lawn Area” with four stages over three days, drawing 60,000 attendees.
  • The most recent LuckyFes’25 was held during the August three-day weekend and saw 80,000 attendees, concluding with overwhelming enthusiasm.

Now entering its fifth year, LuckyFes’26 will take on the bold theme:

“Japan’s First Four-Day Summer Festival! Onward to Asia’s Largest Theme Park-Style Fest!”

For the first time in Japan, a large-scale summer festival will run four days in a row — taking advantage of the “staggered holidays” in August. Our target for LuckyFes’26 is 100,000 attendees, and we plan to further evolve the theme park-style experience for all generations.

Key upgrades include:

  • A stronger theme park atmosphere centered around our beloved “LakiMon” (Lucky Monsters)
  • Expanded musical crossovers to connect across generations
  • An upgraded gourmet experience with even more delicious “Fes-meshi” (festival food)

Please look forward to what’s coming!

Message from Yoshito Hori
LuckyFes Executive Producer

Next year marks the 5th anniversary of LuckyFes.

Every year we’ve taken on new challenges, and for this milestone year, we’ve decided to go all-in with a four-day event in August. After researching, we found that this will be the first time a large-scale summer music festival in Japan runs for four consecutive days.

We’ll be powering up LuckyFes as a theme park-style fest with even more musical crossover, LakiMon-inspired art, and culinary variety.

Our audience has grown steadily from 20K → 40K → 60K → 80K — and now we’re setting our sights on 100,000 Friends in 2026!

See you at LuckyFes’26, August 8–11 —
