LuckyFM Ibaraki Broadcasting Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Mito City, Ibaraki Prefecture) has announced that the comedy duo Oswald will serve as the main MCs for LuckyFes’25, taking place over the three-day weekend of August 9 (Sat), 10 (Sun), and 11 (Mon, Holiday) at the Hitachi Seaside Park. Now in its fourth year, the festival will once again see Oswald and LuckyFM announcers co-hosting the “Leverages presents RAINBOW STAGE”, adding fun and excitement between live music performances.

Oswald, a highly acclaimed comedy duo, earned second place in the 2021 “M-1 Grand Prix,” Japan’s top manzai competition, and are now regulars on various variety shows. They also serve as the hosts of “Leverages presents MUSIC COUNTDOWN 10&10”, which airs every Sunday from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM on LuckyFM. The program will continue to build excitement for LuckyFes by featuring music from the festival’s performing artists again this year.

Oswald – Profile

Oswald is a comedy duo consisting of Shunsuke Itō and Haruki Hatanaka, affiliated with Yoshimoto Kogyo. Formed in 2014, they are active nationwide across television, radio, and live performances. Known for their witty and distinctive manzai (traditional Japanese stand-up comedy), they won the 42nd ABC Comedy Grand Prix in 2021 and were runners-up in the prestigious “M-1 Grand Prix” in 2021, having reached the finals for four consecutive years since 2019.

The final advance ticket sales for LuckyFes’25 will be available from Wednesday, May 14 at 12:00 PM to Thursday, June 5 at 11:59 PM, with tickets sold via lottery through LuckyTicket and Lawson Ticket, among others. Ticket prices are set at 13,500 yen (tax included) for a one-day pass, 24,000 yen for a two-day pass, and 35,000 yen for a three-day pass. To ensure families can also enjoy the event, tickets for junior high and high school students are offered at half price, and children of elementary school age or younger can enter for free.
