LuckyFM Ibaraki Broadcasting Corporation (headquartered in Mito City, Ibaraki Prefecture) announced the fourth group of nine artists who will perform at the music festival ‘LuckyFes’24’, which will be held at Hitachi Seaside Park (located in Hitachinaka City, Ibaraki Prefecture) during the three-day holiday on July 13th (Saturday), 14th (Sunday), and 15th (Monday, national holiday). Starting from May 8th, the fourth phase of advance ticket sales will begin. Along with the 59 artists announced in the first, second, and third rounds, the daily lineup of 68 performers will also be announced.
LuckyFes’24 aims to be the ‘largest theme park-style festival in Asia’ and has announced four new acts from Vietnam, Taiwan, Mongolia, and Thailand. From Thailand, Ink Waruntorn, one of the top three female artists in the country, will perform. From Taiwan, Crowd Lu (Lu Guangzhong), known for his musical depth and natural singing voice, has gained popularity. From Vietnam, the collaboration between Chillies, the first band in the country to surpass one million monthly listeners on Spotify, and Win Morisaki has been confirmed. From Mongolia, The Wasabies, a girl band created with the backing of the major Dutch production and distribution company Endemol Shine Group, will perform. Additionally, a ticket sales site for overseas residents is being prepared on Lawson Ticket, and preparations are underway for overseas marketing.

■ Ink Waruntorn (Thailand) A prominent female singer in Thailand, now considered among the top three female artists in the country. Known for a sound reminiscent of synth-pop and the ’80s, she is also referred to as the ‘Queen of Synth-Pop’ by fans.
■ Crowd Lu (Lu Guangzhong) (Taiwan) A singer-songwriter from Tainan, Taiwan, he is the youngest person to have won the ‘Triple Crown’ of Taiwan’s three major awards (Golden Melody Awards, Golden Bell Awards, and Golden Horse Awards). He is active not only in music but also as an actor.
■ The Wasabies (Mongolia) A girl band formed in January 2018 after being selected on Mongolia’s ‘Star Academy’ program, with the backing of the major Dutch production and distribution company Endemol Shine Group.
■ Chillies special guest MORISAKI WIN (Vietnam) Formed in October 2018, Chillies is a band that has swept across charts internationally and was the first in Vietnam to exceed one million monthly listeners on Spotify. In January 2024, Chillies released a collaboration track ‘Dairomatchai’ with Win Morisaki, which will be performed live for the first time at this event.

The fourth phase of advance ticket sales will be from May 8th (Wednesday) at 12:00 PM until May 29th (Wednesday) at 11:59 PM. Tickets are available through the LuckyFM ticketing system ‘IbaTicke’, Lawson Tickets, Ticket Pia, ePlus, and Rakuten Tickets. Prices are 12,800 yen for a one-day adult ticket, 24,000 yen for a two-day pass, and 35,000 yen for a three-day pass (tax included). In an effort to make the festival enjoyable for families as well, tickets for junior and senior high school students are set at less than half the regular price, and admission for elementary school students and younger is free.
LuckyFes’24 will expand its venue to include a large prairie area featuring four stages: the Levergies presents RAINBOW STAGE, Yakult presents WING STAGE, GARDEN STAGE, and HILLS STAGE. The festival also plans to bring back LuckySpace, featuring artists associated with LuckyFM, which was popular last year. LuckyFes embraces the concept of ‘music crossover’, delivering a diverse range of music genres in conjunction with LuckyFM’s programming, including POP, ROCK, HIPHOP, JAZZ, anime songs, idols, Vocaloid, dance groups, and popular artists across generations. This year, we are advancing negotiations not only with domestic artists but also with artists from South Korea’s K-POP, as well as Taiwan, China, Mongolia, and Southeast Asia, aiming to take the music crossover concept further across Asia and globally.
