LuckyFM (Headquarters: Mito City, Ibaraki Prefecture) will hold an audition “Battle to LuckyFes” in collaboration with TuneCore Japan for the right to appear at the music festival “LuckyFes’24” to be held at the state-run Hitachi Seaside Park (Hitachinaka City, Ibaraki Prefecture) on July 13, 14, and 15.
TuneCore Japan is a digital music distribution service that delivers the music of indie artists to retailers as well as operates an audition platform to expand artist activities.
“Battle to LuckyFes” will utilize the company’s audition platform to solicit sound from indie artists. The application period for the sound screening is three weeks from 12:00 on Wednesday, January 10 to 23:59 on Wednesday, January 31. Those who pass the sound screening will proceed to the video screening and the live-house screening, after which up to 3 groups will finally win the right to appear on the stage of LuckyFes’24. Moreover, they will be awarded 100,000 yen as a supplementary prize.
Furthermore, the auditions will be presented in the company’s program “IBA Lucky MUSIC” (*) from time to time, and artists selected to appear at the festival will also act as program personalities before the festival.
