ハワイ育ちのShen、東京出身のMicroによるユニット。
　“My Way”を含むファーストアルバム『Def Tech』は2005年に発売し280万枚をこえるセールスで、
インディーズのセールス記録を塗り替えた。
2020年には結成20周年、デビュー15周年を迎え、11月にYouTube『THE FIRST TAKE』に「My Way」で初出演し、
視聴回数は約5000万回 を再生。2023年には、シングル「Automatic」,「Weakends」２曲をリリース。
2024年5/1には新曲「Ring D Alarm」をリリース予定。
同時に5月から第2回目となる対バンツアー“Double UP”を開催する。Def Tech is a unit composed of Shen, who grew up in Hawaii, and Micro, who hails from Tokyo.

Their debut album "Def Tech," which includes "My Way," was released in 2005 and achieved sales exceeding 2.8 million copies, setting new records in indie sales.

In 2020, they celebrated their 20th anniversary since formation and 15th anniversary since debut. In November of that year, they made their debut appearance on YouTube's "THE FIRST TAKE" with "My Way," accumulating approximately 50 million views. In 2023, they released two singles, "Automatic" and "Weakends."

They are scheduled to release a new song titled "Ring D Alarm" on May 1, 2024. Simultaneously, they will host their second joint tour titled "Double UP," starting in May.
